Founder Story
The Rental Realm was founded by Nicole Rutherford after several years managing and launching short-term rentals across multiple markets.
Before starting the company, she co-founded and operated Valens Rentals, overseeing more than two dozen properties with a 4.9-star average guest rating and six figures in managed annual revenue. Alongside management, she designed and launched short-term rentals from the ground up all around the U.S.— helping owners transform well-located properties into high-performing listings through strategic setup and operational systems.
Today, The Rental Realm works primarily with owners of thoughtfully designed homes who want their short-term rentals to operate like professional hospitality assets rather than casual side projects.
Our Approach
